Spencer High School Seniors Who Aspire to Become Teachers
The Dr. Shanta McClurkin Future Educator Scholarship
Open to graduating Seniors of William H. Spencer High School who plan to pursue a degree in education.
The application opens January 15, and the deadline to apply is March 15. The scholarship recipient will be announced and recognized during Senior Honors Night in May.
Wynnton Arts Academy 5th Grade Community Service Recognition
The Shanta and Jimmy Joyner Community Spirit Award
This award honors a 5th-grade student who exemplifies a spirit of giving and leadership within their school or community. Established by Dr. Shanta Joyner and Mr. Jimmy Joyner in the 2025-2026 school year, this award reflects their lifelong commitment to service and education.
